These Terms and conditions govern your use of the Redwood RV Rentals LLC website (https://redwoodrvrentals.com), which is also referred to as the “website”. This website is owned and maintained by Redwood RV Rentals, LLC (referred to as “Redwood RV Rentals”, “we”, “our” or “us”). This website uses terms for a renter (referred to as “you” or “your”).

By continuing to use the website you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions you must no access the website or use our services.

We may revise these Terms and Conditions in our sole discretion. Any changes made are considered effective immediately once we post them and apply to all access to and use of the website. By continuing to use the website and our services after we have revised and updated the Terms and Conditions it will be considered you are agreeing to and accept the changes that have been made. You should occasionally check the Terms and Conditions so you are aware of any changes as they are binding on you.

Redwood RV Rentals is not obligated to maintain this website or any data within, and may alter or terminate the website at any time.

 

General Usage Info

  • When picking up the RV, we will walk you through how everything operates and go through a checklist with you to ensure everything is provided that was agreed upon or rented and that nothing is damaged before your rental period. Upon the return of the RV a return form will be filled out to ensure everything has been returned and is undamaged.
  • No smoking in any of our RV’s or directly under the awnings. If it is determined you have been smoking in our RV’s or under the awnings you will be charged for the additional cleaning measures to remove the odors and stains
  • All accidents and damage to be reported. Please call us, and get a copy of the police report if necessary.
  • Backing up – Minimize the amount of backing up you have to do, please make sure you are using all mirrors and a spotter to ensure you do not come into contact with anything.
  • Tail swing – Do not make sharp turns. Any length of RV will have tail swing which can cause you to impact objects that may be around you. Swing wide, but not to deep.
  • WATCH OUT FOR GAS PUMPS AND BOLLARDS! Us a spotter if possible and do not pull up to a pump like you normally do. Gas pumps have long hoses so park further away and utilize that to your advantage making it easier to get in and out of gas stations.
  • Booking the camp site is the responsibility of the renter, you need to know the length of the RV and what amp the trailer requires in order to have the correct power hook up, we have both 50 amp and 30 amp. If you have the incorrect hook up you can cause a surge if it’s to much or you may not be able to use all of the options if it’s to little.
  • Redwood RV Rentals is not liable for your lost or stolen property during your rental period.
  • If Redwood RV Rentals finds items left behind they will be held for one (1) week for you to pick up your items. After that period the items are considered a forfeited. 

Specific Usage Items

  • Slideouts – Keep debris from getting behind and under the slideouts. Watch for exterior obstacles before putting the slides out.
  • Awning – Do not leave the awning unattended. If you are leaving the trailer, retract the awning, wind can and will cause serious damage to the awning and the RV.
  • Water Heater/Pump – Do not keep on all day, it can and will cause damage to the breakers or the water heater/pump.
  • Toilet Paper – RV’s and campsites require the use of RV/Marine toilet paper. Nothing else is permitted. It is provided for you so please it.
  • Our RV’s are clean when you receive them, please ensure you remove all of your trash and make sure the dishes are washed.

Return Information

  • RETURNS ARE DUE BY 5pm CST, if you need to return at a different time please communicate that and make arrangements in advance.
  • Company Property: Any additional equipment, games, tools, supplies etc. that are loaned or rented to you should be left in the RV upon return.

Common Abuse Items

Please take care of our RV’s for your trip and for the courtesy of our next customer’s trip. Your $500 deductible can, and will, be applied to the actions/situations below: (Should the cost to repair the damage exceed the $500 deductible the additional amount will be charged to the card on file and an invoice sent for your records)

Common Abuse Items include but are not limited to:

  • Dumping your trash
  • Washing your dishes
  • Ripped or damaged antennas, roof caps, vent covers, door magnets, etc.
  • Awning damage (insurance does not cover awning damage, if you choose to use it your are doing so at your own risk and expense should it get damaged)
  • Body damage (Using a spotter when backing up or pulling out of places can greatly decrease any risks of damaging the body)
  • Wheel/tire impact damage (avoid hitting curbs by making wide enough turns)
  • Door locks/keys (Assemblies are fragile, do not force it)
  • Clogged toilets (Only use the supplied toilet paper)
  • Ripped/punctured upholserty
  • Sewer pipe or tank impact
  • Stabilizer/Jack impact (these can hang low be careful around speed bumps and dips is terrain)
  • Overloaded plugins and abused electrical equipment
  • Any missing equipment rented or loaned for your trip (inventory will be taken upon departure and arrival)
  • Entertainment System Damage
  • Dump/clean the tanks
  • Bathroom damage
  • Late returns (After 5pm)

The owner of this website is based in the state of Missouri in the United States. This website is for use only by individuals located in the United States. We make no claims that the website or any of its content is accessible or appropriate outside of the United States. Access to the website may not be legal in certain countries. If you access the website from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws in that area.

As we work to improve our products, actual products may differ and prices, specifications, and features (including style, colors, equipment and materials) are subject to change without notice. All capacities are approximate and dimensions are nominal. Recreational vehicle availability is limited, online calendars are up-to-date with confirmed bookings, product availability is up-to-date with confirmed purchases. Please contact Redwood RV Rentals for the latest information concerning any recreational vehicle or product availability.

The website may also contain images, videos, blog posts, and other resources which comment upon, depict, or express opinions concerning Redwood RV Rentals products and their features, components, and appliances. If provided, such content is intended for demonstrative or general information use only and are intended only for use in conjunction with reading the applicable product owner’s manual. You should always rely upon the applicable owner’s manual(s) and other official publications from Redwood RV Rentals and/or the manufacturer of a particular component or appliance contained within our recreational vehicles. 

Payment Processing

Redwood RV Rentals uses a third-party payment platform, Authorize.net or Paypal, to process credit and debit card transactions. By using Authorize.net or Paypal, you agree to be bound by their Terms of Service. Further information about Authorize.net and Paypal and their services can be accessed at https://Paypal.com or https://authorize.net. Users are expressly prohibited from processing stolen credit/debit cards or unauthorized credit/debit cards through Paypal.

Bookings

A RV rental booking is only reserved when the first (or full payment) on a booking reservation has been processed through the company’s secure payment system. Renters may split the booking payment in to two (2) installments, if and only if the rental dates are more than thirty (30) days in advance of the first payment. To split the payment a $500 deposit is required. However in all cases, final payments must be made within two (2) weeks of the rental date.

Damage to our RV’s

The renter will be solely responsible for the condition of the RV which includes both the full interior of the RV and any and all parts of the exterior of the RV during the rental period and the condition that the RV is returned in to Redwood RV Rentals LLC. Renters (and not Redwood RV Rentals LLC) will be held liable for any and all damages to the RV that occur during the rental period. Further, renters will be held liable for any damage that cannot be proven to have existed prior to the rental period.

Security Deposit

Redwood RV Rentals LLC will collect and hold in escrow a security deposit in the amount of $500 forty-eight (48) hours prior to the rental date. Redwood RV Rentals LLC will hold all security deposit funds during the rental period. Security deposit can be paid in cash, cashiers check, credit/debit card. If a credit/debit card is used by renting a RV with us you are agreeing to authorize Redwood RV Rentals LLC to charge the card on file or ACH used to make the booking in order to collect the security deposit before the rental date. If trailer is returned undamaged the entire deposit will be released.

Cancellation Policies and Refunds

Renter is entitled to a full refund of monies paid less processing fees from third party payment processor, for all cancellations made at least thirty (30) days prior to the rental start date. If renter cancels twenty-nine (29) days or less before the rental date the booking is non-refundable.

 

If a booking is made seven (7) days before the rental date a twenty-four (24) hour grace period will be given for cancellation for a full refund of monies paid less processing fees from third party payment processor. After the twenty-four (24) hour period expires the booking is non-refundable.

If a booking is made less than seven (7) days before the rental date a one (1) hour grace period will be given for cancellation for a full refund of monies paid less processing fees from third party payment processor.  After the one (1) hour period expires the booking is non-refundable.

U.S. Military service members are eligible to receive a full refund regardless of the cancellation policy if their cancellation is due to an active deployment or other military-issued order (Redwood RV Rentals LLC reserves the right to ask for supporting documentation).

At Redwood RV Rentals LLC’s discretion, the company may offer refunds outside of the cancellation policy (Redwood RV Rentals LLC reserves the right to ask for supporting documentation for any request of cancellation).

No refunds will be given for early returns, once dates are booked they are blocked off so no one else can book a rental during that period.
